The 'Adopt a Tree!' initiative, launched by Est Ensemble, invites residents of Montreuil and 8 other municipalities to adopt a young tree for free. The goal is to combat climate change and promote biodiversity.

Until November 16, 2026, residents (owners, co-owners, or tenants with outdoor space) can apply online. This program is part of the '20,000 Trees for Climate' Plan, aimed at creating cool islands within the territory.
For those needing in-person assistance with the form, a help desk will be available on Tuesday, November 3, from 2 PM to 5 PM at the Hôtel de Territoire (100 avenue Gaston Roussel in Romainville). Attendees must bring an ID, a proof of residence less than 3 months old, and co-ownership authorization.
Tree distribution will take place between February and March 2027 during a dedicated event where professionals will advise adopters on planting and maintenance.
Concurrently, the city of Montreuil is implementing its part of the tree plan for public spaces and municipal facilities, planting trees in streets, schools, nurseries, retirement homes, cemeteries, and parks, aiming for long-term tree survival.
