Since last summer, the municipality of Eaubonne has acquired two cargo bikes specially fitted with integrated waste bins. This equipment aims to facilitate the daily movements and interventions of the urban cleaning agents.
By replacing some motorized trips with these new eco-friendly modes of transport, the city intends to significantly reduce CO₂ emissions, noise pollution, and fuel consumption. This initiative is part of a proactive environmental policy.
Thanks to their superior maneuverability compared to traditional vehicles, these bikes allow agents to intervene more easily in pedestrian zones, narrow pathways, busy areas, and near the Ermont-Eaubonne train station.
Their cargo capacity is designed to carry the necessary equipment for interventions as well as collected waste, while also enhancing the mobility of the agents in the field.
This innovative solution proves to be practical, more environmentally friendly, and perfectly suited to on-the-ground needs, thereby contributing to the modernization of the city's cleaning services.
