As part of October Rose, the Roissy Pays de France agglomeration is deploying the Mammobus for free breast cancer screenings in several towns within the Val-d'Oise department.

In observance of October Rose, the annual campaign aimed at raising awareness for breast cancer screening, the Roissy Pays de France agglomeration has deployed the Mammobus initiative throughout its territory. The goal is to enhance screening accessibility for all women.
The Mammobus offers free consultations, including mammography and ultrasound, following medical advice. Prevention workshops called « Auto Palp’Action » are also available. Appointments, each lasting 20 minutes, are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. across sixteen municipalities within the agglomeration.
The schedule runs from September 26 to November 7, 2026, covering nine towns: Villiers-le-Bel (Sept. 26), Villeparisis (Sept. 28), Écouen (Sept. 29), Garges-lès-Gonesse (Sept. 30), Mitry-Mory (Oct. 1), Goussainville (Oct. 3), Saint-Witz (Oct. 9), Roissy-en-France (Oct. 12), Sarcelles (Oct. 16), Fosses (Oct. 17), Gonesse (Oct. 24), Othis (Oct. 30), Arnouville (Oct. 31), Le Mesnil-Amelot (Nov. 5), Longperrier (Nov. 6), and Louvres (Nov. 7).
It is noted that in 2021, only 50.6% of eligible women participated in organized breast cancer screening. However, 1 in 8 women is at risk. When detected early, breast cancer is cured in 90% of cases. Screening, which is simple and fully reimbursed, is recommended every two years starting at age 50, supplemented by an annual gynecological check-up from age 25.
