SIARP hosted its Camp César event, a back-to-school gathering focused on ecological transition. Sébastien GUÉRY, President of SIARP, highlighted the importance of this family event addressing future ecological challenges and issues. He also noted the presence of numerous local stakeholders and elected officials, validating the presence of the Syndicate's teams.
Among the key activities, Amandine ALBINO, environmental animator, and Axel GRÉVIN, head of the wastewater treatment plant in Neuville-sur-Oise, offered workshops on sanitation. A new escape game on this theme proved particularly popular, surpassing the success of the tawashi workshop. Charlotte GIAQUINTA, Communications Officer at the Communauté de communes du Vexin Centre (CCVC), confirmed that this activity was highly requested.
Throughout the day, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the SIARP stand attracted many families. Participants successfully tackled the challenge of answering five riddles in motivated teams, forming groups with evocative names like 'Adventurers of the Water's Odyssey' or 'Masters of Bacteria'. These 'ambassadors' are thus made aware of their daily roles.
Philippe MICHEL, Vice-President of SIARP, delegate for Communication, praised the quality of the awareness workshops offered by the Communication department. He expressed his intention to visit classrooms this year for these activities, which resume on October 12 and are highly anticipated by teachers. The motivation of the staff and the warm public reception were highlighted.
This day, rich in exchanges, concluded with thanks from SIARP to the Communauté de communes du Vexin Centre for the organization. Camp César, under the banner of commitment to the planet, lived up to its promises, with a date set for 2027.
