The opening of the southern section of the Grand Paris Express Line 15, connecting Pont de Sèvres to Noisy-Champs, is now scheduled for Autumn 2027, announced the Société des grands projets.

The decision to postpone the opening was made by the Société des grands projets, which is managing the construction, to finalize the adjustments of the operating system. Train testing in the tunnel and external developments around the two stations are ongoing.
In Champigny centre, several works are underway. Since September, the realignment of the RD4 near the station aims to create new external access areas. Starting in October, the rue de la Plage, an access road to the future metro, will undergo a complete renovation. This winter, the consortium COREA, led by Eiffage Génie Civil, responsible for the eastern section of the line, will gradually set up. The construction zone will be located in front of the cemetery.
At the Villiers-Champigny-Bry station, a retaining wall will be built starting in October along the rue des Hauts Bonne Eau. This marks the first step of the "third SNCF track," which will enable interconnection between the SNCF train lines and Line 15 South, planned from 2030.
