The Salon des Gourmets, a must-attend event in Joinville for decades, returns for a new edition on Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22. The Hôtel de Ville will transform into a space dedicated to food lovers, offering a weekend focused on conviviality.
From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., around forty exhibitors, both returning and new, will present a true tour of French flavors. Visitors can discover specialties such as champagnes, independent winemakers' wines, aged cheeses, foie gras, fine charcuterie, honeys, artisanal jams, and macarons. This year, the fair will also feature empanadas from Peru and a producer-breeder of organic rustic black pork.
The event will also highlight local talents, with products from Seine-et-Marne such as snails and spiced rums, a Joinville chocolatier, African cuisine by caterer Mia Dogo, and cookies from Maisons-Alfort. The focus will be on craftsmanship, product quality, and short supply chains.
For younger visitors, free culinary workshops titled 'Les petits gourmets de Noël' (Little Christmas Gourmets) will be offered daily. Adapted for different ages (from 5 to 10 years and older), they will allow children to get hands-on. Registration is free and done on-site on the day. A educational farm run by a clown farmer will also be available.
The Espace Horloge will serve as a relaxation and dining area, where visitors can enjoy products purchased at the fair in a musical atmosphere. On Saturday, the group Soulful of Blues will perform, followed by the children's and adult choirs from the École municipale des arts. On Sunday, the group MËM will entertain visitors. Gift baskets donated by exhibitors will be up for grabs throughout the weekend.
The Salon des Gourmets is an invitation to share a pleasant family moment, meet producers and artisans, and discover the pleasures of the table. Entry is free.
