From November 23 to 28, 2026, the city of Orly is organizing a week of mobilization to combat violence against women, offering shows, exhibitions, music, and workshops.

On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, celebrated on November 25, Orly is launching a dedicated program for the awareness and prevention of sexist and sexual violence. This initiative, developed collaboratively by municipal departments committed to gender equality, aims to highlight various forms of violence, encourage awareness, and foster dialogue.
Several events are scheduled from November 23 to 28, 2026, with a common goal: to give visibility to these violences, amplify women's voices, and promote a more egalitarian society.
On Tuesday, November 25, an awareness evening will be held at the cultural center. It will begin at 7:15 PM with a performance by the Pop’n rock choir from the Municipal School of Arts, followed at 8:30 PM by the show « Des mots pour agir » (Words to Act). This performance, accessible from age 12, uses a double bass accompaniment to highlight violence against women and girls. A convivial buffet will be served afterward, provided by the association Farzia, presided over by Nadia Lahrour.
On Wednesday, November 26, from 2 PM to 5 PM, the CSAC will host the performance « Si j’étais une femme » (If I Were a Woman). This show explores various forms of everyday violence such as ordinary sexism, domestic violence, workplace sexual harassment, and cyberharassment, encouraging reflection on behaviors and prevention mechanisms.
On Thursday, November 27, the all-female group Parioka will offer a musical journey celebrating women. Meet from 4 PM at the Centre Social Andrée Chedid for a buffet, before the show from 5 PM to 6 PM, highlighting female artists and diverse musical styles.
On Friday, November 28, the association Vybzschool will lead an Urban Girl dance workshop at the Forum Neruda, from 6 PM to 9 PM. This workshop aims to provide a supportive space for women to reconnect with their bodies, express themselves freely, and build self-confidence.
From November 23 to 27, the Centre Social Andrée Chedid will host the photographic exhibition « Pin Up » by the association Pin Up en Île-de-France. Through staged photographs, the exhibition sheds light on various situations of violence experienced by women, complementing the association's self-confidence workshops.
From November 23 to 28, 2025, everyone is invited to participate in this mobilization for equality, respect, and security for all.
