During the Autumn Festival in Saint-Mandé, the pastry shop Maison Elyssa won the pastry competition with its trompe-l'œil cake "Pomme Elyssa", which realistically imitates an apple.

Opened on June 21st, Maison Elyssa pastry shop stood out at the pastry competition organized for the Autumn Festival. Its trompe-l'œil cake, named "Pomme Elyssa", amazed the jury with its resemblance to a real apple. This dessert, made with candied apple puree, fresh apple pieces, and an apple-infused whipped ganache, is coated in white chocolate and cocoa butter.
The shop also offers other stunning trompe-l'œil creations like lemons, raspberries, peanuts, mangoes, pears, or fruit baskets, showcasing the artistry of pastry chef Raouf, who combines technique and creativity.
Maison Elyssa has also expanded its range of breads and viennoiseries, including "diabémix" breads, specialty breads, nut and dried fruit baguettes, and traditional breads like "hallot" and "matlouh". For catering, savory and sweet platters are available to order for events, featuring homemade mini-bites such as hamburgers, chicken spring rolls, or salmon croissants.
