The Town of Villeneuve-Saint-Georges is continuing its urban transformation with major renovation projects in the North and Triage districts, aiming to improve housing and residents' quality of life.

The Town of Villeneuve-Saint-Georges is committed to an urban renewal policy aimed at qualitatively improving its neighborhoods. These actions, driven by the municipal team, focus on preserving heritage, improving housing, and the living environment.
In the North district, the Valophis group is undertaking a large-scale rehabilitation of the Thimonnier residence, comprising 354 homes. This project aims to modernize the neighborhood, optimize the energy performance of the buildings to achieve very low consumption, and enhance accessibility and security. Launched in February 2025, this operation, scheduled to continue until 2028, already includes the installation of elevators and the progressive intervention of partner companies. This transformation is highly anticipated by residents for lasting comfort.
To combat substandard housing, the Town has established a partnership with SIFAE, a subsidiary of the Public Land Establishment of Île-de-France and Action Logement Immobilier. This partnership enables the acquisition and renovation of degraded houses, which are then put back on the market. Several operations are already underway in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges, particularly in three properties. The objective of Madame the Mayor is to preserve and strengthen the quality of life in all areas of the town.
The Triage district, marked by its railway history, is also benefiting from renovation projects. ICF Habitat is rehabilitating 48 homes and carrying out the residentialization of 16 others. These initiatives aim to improve living conditions, enhance existing heritage, and increase the district's attractiveness.
