A prior consultation notice has been issued for the New Urban Renewal Program of the Plaine de Neauphle district (Camus Courbet Sector) in Trappes. The public consultation will take place from October 5 to November 22, 2026.

The Municipal Councils of Trappes and the community council of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines have defined the terms of the public consultation for the urban renewal project of the Camus Courbet district. This process follows deliberations on November 7 and 17, 2022.
The main objectives of this project include improving inter-sector links to integrate Priority Neighborhoods for Urban Policy (QPV) into the city center, opening up the isolated Camus square, redeveloping communal facilities for QPV residents, promoting innovative ecological development, and clarifying the status and uses of public spaces.
The project presentation file, weighing 4.28 MB, is available for download and can be viewed at the Town Hall of Trappes and at the Espace 1901 – Maison des associations, located at 22 Rue Maurice Ravel.
Residents can express their views by mail addressed to Monsieur le Maire, by email to concertationanru@mairie-trappes.fr, or through the consultation registers available at the Town Hall (urban planning and development service) and at the Espace 1901.
A public meeting will be held on October 29, 2026, at 7 PM at the Maternelle Camus, allée Albert Camus in Trappes. A summary of the consultation will then be presented to the Municipal and Community Councils.
