Over 60 residents of La Queue-lez-Yvelines participated on Saturday, September 26, in a citizen cleanup morning, collecting 70 kg of waste from the town's natural areas.

On Saturday, September 26, solidarity and eco-citizenship were honored in La Queue-lez-Yvelines. More than 60 residents, young and old, mobilized, equipped with gloves and vests, to participate in a large citizen cleanup morning.
Thanks to everyone's energy and enthusiasm, no less than 70 kg of waste were collected and removed from the commune's natural spaces and walking paths. Special congratulations were given to the young councilors of the Youth Municipal Council (CMJ), as well as to the many families who came to share this concrete gesture for the environment.
The municipality also commended the work carried out by the teachers and students of the Marcel Bouquet elementary school, who created thematic murals and led awareness workshops prior to the event. The center E.Leclerc of Bois d’Arcy is thanked for providing the collection equipment.
