This event, open to all, aims to be a time of remembrance and mobilization. Due to the closure of streets around the square to traffic and the prohibition of parking, it is advised to come on foot if you live nearby. For others, public transport is recommended.
Access to the square will be through eight designated entrances, with security checks. French tricolor flags and handmade signs are permitted, provided they are not attached to a pole. Prohibited items include weapons, sprays, dangerous products, pyrotechnic articles, glass bottles, cans, metal flasks, selfie sticks, tripods, pointed umbrellas, drones (unless authorized), bulky luggage, alcohol, and illicit substances.
Traffic and parking are prohibited on Place des Merisiers, the parking lots of La Merise and the Merisiers shopping center, as well as in adjacent streets (Léo Lagrange, Mahatma Gandhi, Gérard Philipe, Édouard White) until Friday, October 30th at 11 PM. Any remaining vehicles will be considered obstructive.
To get to the square, it is recommended to take the Transilien N from Paris Montparnasse or the Transilien U from La Défense to Trappes station. From there, bus 5106 to the Paul Langevin stop allows access to the square within a 5-minute walk. Road access from Paris (A13/A86, A12, RN10) and Rambouillet (RN10) are also indicated, with an exit at Trappes and following 'Centre Les Merisiers'.
Necessary medications and medical devices, as well as mobility aids, are permitted and will be subject to appropriate checks. A dedicated parking area for people with reduced mobility is available at Espace Solidarité, 6 rue de Koprivnice.
