The town of Saint-Michel-sur-Orge is launching its "Christmas Boxes" initiative to help the less fortunate, allowing them to receive a solidarity gift for the holidays.

For a Christmas of solidarity, residents of Saint-Michel-sur-Orge are once again invited to offer a gift to those who have none. The initiative involves assembling a "Christmas box" to warm the hearts of people in difficulty.
The principle is simple: just include a warm piece of clothing, a book or game, a small hygiene or comfort item, a treat, and a handwritten note, all wrapped in pretty gift paper.
From Monday, November 2 to Saturday, November 28, 2026, Christmas boxes can be dropped off at the receptions of the Hôtel de Ville, the Jean Vilar wing, and the Guette municipal center, during usual opening hours.
These donations will then be given to local charities, along with toys collected as part of the "Christmas Bus" operation.
For more information, you can contact the town hall at 01 69 80 29 29 or by email at mairie@saintmichel91.fr.
