The Town of Triel-sur-Seine, in partnership with the Grand Paris Seine & Oise Urban Community, is launching a citizen participation appeal to identify the remarkable trees in its territory. The goal is to promote their long-term protection as part of the update to the Intercommunal Local Urban Plan (PLUi).

Residents are invited to report remarkable, old trees, or those providing valuable coolness in summer, as well as those playing a crucial thermal role or located in areas of local biodiversity. The process is simple: take a photo and fill out an online form in two minutes.
These contributions will help to better understand and preserve this natural heritage, essential to the town's living environment. Each report will be analyzed for its sanitary and ecological condition by an expert or the Town's Green Spaces department.
If the tree is located on private property, the town hall will contact the owner before taking any action. It is specified that each report constitutes a proposal for inventory and does not guarantee the tree's inclusion in the PLUi.
The deadline for participation is set for Sunday, December 27, 2026.
