The City of Vigneux-sur-Seine is seeking applications to become a neighborhood referent. This voluntary role aims to strengthen the link between residents, elected officials, and municipal services, within the framework of participatory democracy.

As part of the Charter of Participatory Democracy, the City of Vigneux-sur-Seine is working to enhance the connection between residents and local institutions by renewing its collective of neighborhood referents. These volunteer citizens commit themselves to improving the living environment and promoting citizen participation.
The main missions of neighborhood referents include gathering and relaying residents' concerns, disseminating municipal information, contributing to the improvement of the living environment, and participating in neighborhood councils. This role, based on transparency and inclusion, is neither an elected mandate nor a decision-making power.
To apply, candidates must reside in Vigneux-sur-Seine, be 18 years of age or older, be registered on the municipal electoral lists, and not hold a current elected or citizen mandate. The commitment is voluntary and lasts for two years.
Interested individuals are invited to submit their application, including full contact details and a letter of motivation, by mail to the Mairie de Vigneux-sur-Seine or by email to democratieparticipative@vigneux91.fr. The application deadline is Sunday, November 15, 2026.
