Addressing labor market challenges, the CCI Paris Île-de-France is launching a new edition of the "15 Days for Employment" from October 1st to 15th, 2026. This regional event aims to connect talent with companies and promote senior employment, a key issue for the Île-de-France economy.
For two weeks, the network of Paris Île-de-France Chambers of Commerce will offer companies and candidates a program of events, meetings, and support across the region. The initiative seeks to foster exchanges between employers, recruiters, job seekers, recent graduates, apprentices, those undergoing career changes, and experienced employees.
An inaugural conference, titled "Seniors, Your Experience is Our Future," will take place on October 1st, 2026, at 6:00 PM. It will bring together experts, companies, and employment stakeholders to shed light on the role of seniors in the workplace. The event will feature an intervention by Jean-Jacques Richard, author of "J'ai 50 ans et je vous emmerde!", along with the presentation of new data and best practices.
The conference program includes an opening by Dominique Restino, president of the CCI Paris Île-de-France, and Damien Walker, CEO of CCI Paris. Experts from the CCI will present the current state of senior employment in Île-de-France, and France Travail Île-de-France will discuss senior unemployment trends. A panel discussion on "How to Move Things Forward in Companies?" and a networking cocktail will conclude the evening, with closing remarks from Gérald Barbier, president of the CCI Paris.
Events will be held across all Île-de-France departments, both in-person and online, including recruitment fairs, speed dating, and workshops. This initiative aligns with the CCI Paris Île-de-France's mission to support economic development and employment.
Dominique Restino emphasizes that "Senior employment is one of the major challenges of our labor market. [...] With the '15 Days for Employment,' the CCI Paris Île-de-France is creating a mobilizing regional event."
