The conference will explore how scientific research can shed light on major challenges in the fields of buildings and infrastructure. The event is organized by the Lab Recherche Environnement chair, a joint initiative of the Energy, Environment, Processes Center (CEEP) at Mines Paris – PSL and Vinci.
The morning session, running from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the VINCI – l’archipel headquarters, located at 1973 Boulevard de la Défense, 92000 Nanterre, will be dedicated to three main themes: photovoltaic energy storage, shared mobility, and the integration of nature in cities.
The opening will be delivered by Pierre Anjolras, CEO of VINCI. The conference will address the rise of photovoltaic energy, with production and storage solutions presented by Mines Paris – PSL and VINCI Énergies. The evaluation of urban biodiversity and decision support for urban nature will be discussed with AgroParisTech and VINCI Immobilier.
Shared mobility will also be a key topic, particularly the impact and deployment of dedicated lanes on highways, in collaboration with the École nationale des ponts et chaussées and VINCI Autoroutes. Among the speakers are also Sabine Granger, CEO of VINCI Autoroutes, Virginie Leroy, president of VINCI Immobilier, Nathalie Frascaria-Lacoste, professor at AgroParisTech, and Maxime Trocmé, R&D deployment director at VINCI.
The closing remarks will be given by Alain Aspect, winner of the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics, who will share his vision on the place of science in society and offer insights into quantum physics. This conference will be a unique opportunity to discover recent scientific advancements, understand how they translate into operational solutions, and engage with researchers and experts from academia and industry.
