Filmmaker Christophe Honoré has been selected by Sciences Po to lead its cinema chair at the Maison des arts et de la création for the 2026-2027 academic year. He succeeds notable figures such as Alice Diop, Mathieu Amalric, and Claire Denis.

A prolific filmmaker, writer, playwright, and stage director, Christophe Honoré will explore the figure of the author throughout the year, drawing from his own artistic practice and long-term collaborations. His course, titled "Experimenting with the Author's Place," will guide students in examining the concept of authorship through writing, artistic direction, and the creation of very short videos.
An event is scheduled for October 25th featuring a screening of the film "Le Lycéen." This event, organized by the student association Close Up, the cinema Le Saint-Germain-des-Prés, and the Maison des arts et de la création, will be followed by a discussion with actor Paul Kircher.
Sciences Po will also host its open days for the Bachelor's program on Saturday, November 28, 2026, and for Master's programs on Saturday, October 17, 2026, providing prospective students with information on programs and admission procedures.
