Since its opening in September 2019, the municipal health center (CMS) has been a pillar of the town's health policy. Created to address difficulties in accessing care and medical desertification, it currently has 6 general practitioners, 1 psychologist, 2 midwives, and 1 advanced practice nurse. The CMS applies sector 1 regulated fees without exceeding charges and offers third-party payment. An annex opened in Le Bourg, avenue du 8 mai 1945, in March 2025, providing general medicine consultations and home visits.
Beyond consultations, the town emphasizes prevention. The prevention, health, and disability service works to inform and raise awareness, notably through workshops in schools, distribution of menstrual kits to middle school girls, and prevention stands during events like Un été à Mitry-Mory. The Check ta santé operation at Mitry-Villeparisis station offers screenings and information on mental health, addictions, and nutrition.
Pink October annually mobilizes for breast cancer screening, and the town is committed to blood donation, with five collections organized in 2025 at the Salle Jean Vilar, earning it the Or Commune donneur label. Public employees also benefit from mental health training.
To facilitate access to care, a community mutual health insurance was established in March 2025, in partnership with La Mutuelle Familiale, offering negotiated rates without age or medical questionnaire conditions. Information sessions are held every Wednesday at the Espace solidarité.
The Territorial Autonomy Point (PAT) assists with disability-related procedures, with 8 sessions held in 2025. Addiction support sessions take place on Tuesdays at the Espace solidarité, and the maternal and child protection service (PMI) holds a session on Thursdays.
The municipality also seeks to attract new healthcare professionals, particularly general practitioners, speech therapists, psychiatrists, dermatologists, and allergists, to complement the existing offering which already includes 3 general practitioners, 2 cardiologists, 22 dentists, and other specialists.
Key figures: 354 blood donors in 2025, 36 mammograms during Pink October, and 15,822 consultations at the municipal health center in 2025.
