The Île du Perthuis is preparing for winter and announces its closure to the public starting Wednesday, October 7th. This decision comes a few days earlier than initially planned, due to upcoming renovation works on the terrasse des Moulins.
New kiosks will be installed on the site soon. To ensure everyone's safety during the construction, access to the island will be restricted for the duration of the works.
With the arrival of winter and potential rainfall, the island may also be subject to flooding. This natural phenomenon allows it to fulfill its role as a natural sponge and contribute to water regulation.
Visitors are invited to return to Île du Perthuis upon its reopening, scheduled for April 1st, 2027.
