From that date, the Public Treasury will no longer accept checks for the medical center's revenue management. To prevent any disruption in collection and secure its cash flow, the municipality has opted for PayFiP, a free system developed by the Directorate General of Public Finance (DGFiP). This solution will allow patients to pay for their consultations remotely, 24/7, by bank card, direct debit, or bank transfer.
This project aims to offer several benefits: a more accessible and faster service for users, a reduction in unpaid bills and shorter collection times for the center, as well as a lightening of administrative tasks for staff, allowing them to focus more on in-person and telephone reception.
Aware of the risks associated with the digital divide, the municipality will maintain human support at the reception and offer on-site payment options (cash, card). Furthermore, support for families facing financial difficulties will be strengthened through adapted aid and assistance programs.
