During these events, students explored diverse fields such as innovative metrology, urban and river environmental observatories, digital tools, industrial heritage management, process engineering, and purification mechanisms. These visits are part of collaborations with institutions like the University of Technology of Compiègne (UTC), Sorbonne University (SU), Paris-Est Créteil University (UPEC), and the École nationale des ponts et chaussées (ENPC), particularly in connection with the IA-IE chair (Sanitation Engineering and Environmental Innovation) established in 2025.
Welcomed by SIAAP officials, including Vincent Rocher, Deputy Director of Innovation, Strategy, Environment, Sabrina Guérin, Director of Innovation, Vanessa Legaigneur, Director of the Seine Centre plant, and Pascal Brindejonc, Head of La Cité de l'Eau et de l'Assainissement, the young visitors toured the laboratories.
This immersion provided students with a deep understanding of innovation professions at SIAAP. They engaged with present staff about the scientific research program, notably the innEAUvation initiative, and considered future collaborations, from practical internships to specialized sanitation training.
