The Citizen Action Pilot Group, created this year in Jouars-Pontchartrain, unites motivated associations and citizens, in coordination with local elected officials. Its aim is to foster and encourage initiatives that contribute to collective memory and strengthen daily citizenship. This collective seeks to facilitate joint projects without creating a new association, allowing everyone to get involved according to their desires and capabilities.
Open to all residents, the collective is launching its first actions around the commemoration of November 11th. These initiatives aim to transmit memory, develop knowledge, and share useful skills.
Among the proposed events are an exhibition of about forty panels on the Great War (1914-1918), and a conference on November 11th on Saturday, November 7th at 5 PM in the Liebermann hall, organized by the association Jouars-Pontchartrain et l'Histoire.
Two training sessions in citizen first aid will be provided by firefighters on Sunday, November 8th, organized by the AC Chennevières association and the ACSJP, respectively. These sessions aim to impart essential reflexes in emergency situations.
The commemorative ceremony for November 11th will take place on Wednesday, November 11th at 11:45 AM at the war memorial, located near the church and cemetery of Jouars. This collective moment of remembrance honors those affected by war and emphasizes the importance of memory for future generations.
A free workshop on cybersecurity is offered on Thursday, November 12th at 8:30 PM at the Foyer rural, led by Dominique Bogé, Municipal Councilor for Security. Limited to 20 participants by registration, it will include practical exercises on computers or phones.
The Pilot Group thus encourages active citizenship. Interested residents wishing to participate in future initiatives or join the collective are welcome.
