Beyond simple collection, the Grand-Orly Seine Bièvre inter-municipal authority is implementing local programs to prevent the generation of household and similar waste. The primary goal is to foster a better understanding of individual consumption patterns to adapt them and consequently reduce the overall volume of waste.
Recognizing that "the best waste is the waste that is not produced," the authority is seeking ideas from residents, who are best placed to identify areas for improvement. Everyone is invited to review the draft 2026-2031 Waste Prevention Plan and add their suggestions or remarks.
Citizens have until October 18, 2026, to download the document, review it, and submit their proposals. Following this consultation, the teams at Grand-Orly Seine Bièvre will study and integrate the received suggestions before the plan's official validation and publication, scheduled for late 2026.
To participate in this collective initiative, visit the inter-municipal authority's website to download the guide and add your comments.
